MIDDLE SCHOOLS PERFORM:

Broadway Revue at Clarksville

We have decided to take this season and really showcase the musical talents of the CMS family.  Instead of a known production, we will be writing an original cabaret based on shows loved by cast members involved.  Students will get a chance to perform songs they have always dreamed of on stage, as well as work as an ensemble on several company numbers.  In addition to this creative experience, Master Class teachers will be coming in to teach workshops on Improvisation, Pantomime, Hip Hop, Tap, and Theatrical Makeup.  All of this will culminate in a one-hour cabaret performance where students will showcase their talent.

Fridays, Feb. 23 – May 12  3:00-5:00 pm

Annie Jr. at Folly Quarter Middle School

Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyoneʼs favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
